We understand that the majority of our customers are looking for an exceptional piece, resurfaced to a high standard and updated to enable compatibility with contemporary plumbing methods. Integral taps and waste systems are stripped back to their base metal, then repaired and rebuilt, re-polished and re-plated with chrome, nickel or gold to order and pressure tested before leaving our premises.
At Stiffkey Bathrooms, we prefer to use acrylic enamel over vitreous enamel on our baths because of its versatility, economy and its lesser environmental impact. If aftercare instructions are followed, it can last for up to 15 years and if chipped, it can be repaired in situ.
Much of our focus is on the restoration of the inside of our baths, but we do offer the outside and feet stripped and primed in the price. However, for a fee we can oversee specialist paint jobs and effects such as stencils and marbling.
